Sources Policy

Permafrost Wiki prioritizes evidence over speculation. The Steam listing, publisher announcements, and clearly identified community reports are the sources used for the current Permafrost coverage.

Where our information comes from

• Official channels first: the game's website, Discord, patch notes, and in-game announcements.
• In-game verification whenever possible.
• Community sources are used only to cross-check, never as the sole basis for a claim.
• Video and social posts are treated as leads unless they quote or show verifiable game information.

Verification and dating

Every page shows when it was last researched or updated. Codes marked as verified have been confirmed through an official source; anything unconfirmed is labeled accordingly.

Uncertainty

When information cannot be confirmed, we say so directly instead of guessing. Rumors are either excluded or clearly marked as unverified.
