Permafrost Survival Systems

10 entries

Core survival concepts and reported resource groups. Numeric thresholds, consumption rates, and crafting recipes are intentionally omitted until verified.

Read each entry before a run

Every survival systems card links to a dedicated page with its summary, attributes, and any acquisition note we can currently support. Use those pages to compare functions and risks instead of relying on a name alone.

How attributes are handled

Attributes are limited to what the available source describes. Values that depend on exact patch testing are marked as reported or left out. That keeps the database useful without inventing recipes, spawn tables, or combat numbers.

Extreme Cold

The central environmental threat. Extreme cold shapes shelter planning, thermal equipment, routes, expedition timing, and recovery across the frozen open world.

Endless winter drives shelter construction, thermal equipment, route planning, and expedition length. Caught in the open during a sub-zero whiteout, players can exhaust quickly and die rapidly.
